    Text OBITUARY: DR. DONALD R. JACOBS
    Dr. Donald R. Jacobs, 70, of Waynesburg died March 17, 1962, at Greene County Memorial Hospital. He was the son of William R. and Florence Scott Jacobs. He was born December 4, 1892 near Bristoria, but later moved to Franklin Township, near Waynesburg.
    On September 29, 1927 he was married to Nellie Church, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles Church of Waynesburg and Rogersville.
    During WW I, he was a member of the Navy Medical Corp, and during WW II he was a Lt. Col. in the U. S. Army Medical Corp.
    He was a member of the First Methodist Church of Waynesburg, and the Sons of the American Revolution.
    Surviving are his wife, and three children; Charles Church Jacobs, a pharmacist of Cleveland, Ohio; Dr. Donald Warren Jacobs, a dentist at NAC, Lexington, Md.; Miss Marjorie Ann Jacobs, R.N., at St. Joseph's Hospital, Denver, Colo; three grandchildren: Joyce Suzanne, of Cleveland, and Donald Marshall and Carol Ann, of Lexington Park.
    Also Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Grover C. Hughes, of Waynesburg, and a brother, Ralph of Waynesburg, RD 3.
    A brother, Allen, died January 20, 1962.
    Burial was in Rosemont Cemetery
