Notes - On Jan.26, 1903, Nicholaus immigrated to America on the boat Vaterland. Nicholaus moved to 312 N. Claremont Ave. in Chicago. He saved money for almost 15 years so he could return to Austria for his family to bring them to America. Nicholaus collected Ignatz and Elizabeth and returned to America. Maria, and her two children, Maria and Johann remained in Austria.
